Play & adjust volume
Choose a frequency and click Preview to listen. Add it to your mix to combine it with other frequencies. Use the play button and volume slider in each mix row to listen and adjust its volume. Pause all stops the mix without removing any tracks.
Adjust the volume until it feels comfortable. You can use one frequency on its own or combine several to create your own mix.
Change the tone
Each frequency is presented as a gentle, rhythmic isochronic tone. To change how a frequency sounds, select its card or choose Edit in your mix, then adjust Base Frequency. The Schumann frequency itself stays the same. Reset to default restores the 120 Hz tone.
Export a WAV file
With at least one frequency added to your mix, select the length under “Track length” and click “Export locally” to export a WAV audio file. All frequencies in your mix are included at their current volume, even when paused. Previewing a frequency does not add it to the export.
The export will run as long as the dialog stays open. Once finished, the file is on your device. In Chrome on desktop, a dialog will show up on where to save the file on your computer and how to name it. The audio will be exported to your download folder on all other browsers or devices.
File won't open on mobile
Some mobile browsers ignore the file name and extension, so the file may be saved as “download” or without “.wav”. If it won't open, rename it so it ends in .wav, for example zenmix-schumann-export.wav.

What Are Schumann Frequencies?
Schumann resonances are naturally occurring electromagnetic resonances in the space between the Earth’s surface and the ionosphere. The best-known one is around 7.83 Hz, with several higher resonances occurring above it.
These frequencies have become popular in meditation, relaxation, breathwork, and other wellness practices because many people like the idea of working with rhythms associated with the Earth’s natural electromagnetic environment. In audio, they are usually made listenable through techniques such as isochronic tones rather than played as a plain 7.83 Hz sound.
