Instructions

Press play on any frequency to start listening. Adjust the volume until it feels comfortable. You can use one frequency on its own or combine several to create your own mix.

Each frequency is presented as a gentle, rhythmic isochronic tone. To change how a frequency sounds, open the 3-dots menu on its card and choose a different tone. The Schumann frequency itself stays the same.

To save your mix, choose a 5-, 10-, or 15-minute track length and select "Export locally". Your finished WAV file is created directly on your device.

Keep it simple with a single frequency, or blend two or more together for a richer sound. Each frequency has its own volume control, so you can make one more prominent while keeping the others quietly in the background.

What Are Schumann Frequencies?

Schumann resonances are naturally occurring electromagnetic resonances in the space between the Earth’s surface and the ionosphere. The best-known one is around 7.83 Hz, with several higher resonances occurring above it.

These frequencies have become popular in meditation, relaxation, breathwork, and other wellness practices because many people like the idea of working with rhythms associated with the Earth’s natural electromagnetic environment. In audio, they are usually made listenable through techniques such as isochronic tones rather than played as a plain 7.83 Hz sound.
