I welcome you to this Root Chakra Meditation, a journey into the depths of your energy system to explore and balance the foundational energy center known as the Root Chakra.
The Root Chakra, also called Muladhara in Sanskrit, is located at the base of the spine, between the perineum and the lower spine. It serves as the energetic anchor, providing a stable foundation for your well-being, and is the element of Earth.
The Root Chakra is symbolized by the color red and is associated with qualities such as stability, security, and a sense of belonging. When this chakra is open and balanced, it allows the free flow of energy, promoting a strong connection to the physical world and a feeling of groundedness. An open Root Chakra is essential for cultivating a solid foundation upon which you can build a balanced and fulfilling life.
When the Root Chakra is imbalanced, it can lead to feelings of instability, insecurity, and disconnection. This imbalance may manifest as anxiety, fear, or a lack of trust in yourself and the world around you. Physical symptoms such as lower back pain, digestive issues, or fatigue may also be associated with an imbalance in the Root Chakra.
Pause 3 seconds
Now, find a comfortable seated position, with your back straight, and your palms rested on your knees, facing down. Close your eyes, and let the journey begin. Take a deep breath in. Exhale fully, letting go of any tension or stress.
Pause 5 seconds
Let’s engage in a deep breathing exercise to bring calm and relaxation to your mind and body. Inhale slowly and deeply through your nose. Allow your lungs to fill with air, expanding your chest and diaphragm. Count silently to 5, gradually filling your lungs to a comfortable fullness. Once you’ve inhaled fully, gently hold your breath for a count of three. Feel the air within you, and embrace the stillness of this moment. Release your breath slowly and completely through your mouth. Feel the tension leaving your body as you exhale. Count to 7 as you exhale, making it a slow and controlled process.
Pause 5 seconds
After exhaling completely, pause for a moment before inhaling again. Allow yourself to experience a moment of emptiness, a brief pause before the next breath.
Continue this deep breathing pattern. Inhale for a count of 5, hold for a count of 3, exhale for a count of 7, and pause briefly.
Focus on the rhythm of your breath, allowing it to become steady and soothing.
Pause 10 seconds
As you breathe, bring your attention to the sensation of the breath entering and leaving your body. Feel the rise and fall of your chest or the expansion and contraction of your abdomen.
Pause 10 seconds
Gradually extend the length of your inhalations and exhalations if it feels comfortable. However, maintain a pace that feels natural for you.
Pause 10 seconds
Continue this deep breathing exercise for a few seconds. With each breath, let go of any tension or stress from your body, mind, and heart. Allow yourself to be fully present in the act of breathing.
Pause 10 seconds
Take a final deep breath, and then gently come back to your normal respiration rhythm. Notice how you feel, and carry this sense of calm awareness with you into the rest of this session.
Pause 10 seconds
Imagine yourself standing at the edge of a beautiful, ancient forest. Picture the tall trees, their leaves gently swaying in the breeze. Feel the energy of the earth beneath your feet as you take a moment to connect with nature, feeling stability and protection.
Pause 10 seconds
Visualize yourself walking into this forest. The ground is soft beneath your bare feet, and the air is filled with the scent of pine and earth. As you walk, you feel a deep sense of security and connection to the natural world around you.
Pause 10 seconds
Continue walking deeper into the forest, and soon you come across a clearing. In the center of the clearing, there is a patch of soft, mossy ground. Take a seat and feel the coolness of the moss beneath you.
Pause 10 seconds
Bring your attention to the base of your spine, between the perineum and the lower spine. Visualize a radiant red light, like the bulb of a flower, glowing brightly in this area as you breathe in healing energy from the earth and exhale any worries or stress.
This is your Root Chakra, the foundation of your energy system.
Pause 10 seconds
As you focus on this red light, imagine it transforming into a beautiful, vibrant red lotus flower bulb. Picture the petals slowly beginning to open, revealing a four-petaled lotus flower. See each petal unfolding gracefully as you inhale and exhale.
Pause 15 seconds
With each breath, feel the energy of the earth entering your body through the roots of the lotus and your feet.
Sense a warm, grounding energy spreading throughout your body, providing stability and support.
Observe what you are feeling here. It can be warmth, coolness, tingling, or even nothing.
Pause 10 seconds
As the lotus fully opens, notice how its vibrant red color becomes even more intense. This is a symbol of your rootedness and connection to the earth. Embrace the sense of security and stability that comes with a balanced and open Root Chakra.
Pause 10 seconds
Take a few moments to bask in the energy of your Root Chakra. Feel the connection between your energy and the energy of the earth. Know that you are grounded, supported, and secure. Stay here for a few moments, letting this energy settle into your entire being.
Pause 15 seconds
When you are ready, gently bring your awareness back to the present moment. Become aware of the surface beneath your body, and move your toes slightly.
Pause 10 seconds
Wiggle your fingers, take a deep breath, and slowly open your eyes.
Carry this sense of groundedness and stability with you throughout your day, knowing that you can return to this peaceful forest and work with your Root Chakra whenever you need to reconnect with the earth’s energy and bring more protection into your life.
The 5 and 10-minute scripts are based on the 20-minute version but adjusted to the different lengths. For protection, they’re not publicly displayed.

I use Paddle.com for all my payments. They are a reseller and are a leading payment provider loved in the software world. Maybe that's because some of you don't know them. I never had any issue with them on both sides - buying and selling.

I can tell you, this tax stuff is ridiculously complicated. That's why I am happy that Paddle also takes care of this for me.

Yes, you can buy single tracks on the royalty-free meditation music single track page.
That's a common misconception and understandable if you've never dealt with any licensing before.
Royalty-free music is not free as in free beer. Royalty-free means that you don't have to pay any royalties to the rightsholder for continued use. Classically, you had to pay for every use and with sometimes strict view or usage limits like limited to 5000 CD sales or 5000 downloads.
However, not so with royalty-free music. Instead, you pay for the license once and can use it forever and how often you want.
No. The music is copyrighted by ZENmix and its composers and the copyright remains with ZENmix and its composers.
Most folks use unintentionally the wrong terms, and you might too. Please read our guide on music licensing for the layman
What you buy is a royalty-free license that grants you the use of our music for commercial purposes under certain restrictions. Read the full details about it in ZENmix Royalty-Free License.

It depends.
If you used the music as part of guided meditations, affirmations, visualizations, and your voice is audible, you're allowed to publish it on Spotify and co. It's considered part of your work then.
However, you can not simply publish the track as is on Spotify and co except it's a video platform like YouTube where it's part of the video work.
This depends on the license the music is under. If it's using our Standard License, then:
If it's using our Subliminal License, then:

That's a classical issue for iPhone users. Please use a computer or an Android mobile device to download and extract the songs.
iOS does not support downloading an archive, extracting it, and making the files aka music available for other apps on the device. It's a limitation on iOS created by Apple. I can't fix that.
Paddle sends an email with a download link per pack. So, if you bought the bundle, you'll get 5 emails with a single download link.
Please check your inbox and spam folder for these emails. And if you still didn't find it, please email me at hello@zenmix.io.
The tracks are all in CD quality but are distributed with different bitrates. This is because the packs evolved, and I have not updated older tracks as the bitrate is always acceptable for most use cases of digital audio.
Honestly, most people don't even notice any difference between a 128kbps track and a 320kbps one, especially not on regular consumer speakers or headphones.
